SPRING 2018 STUDYUSA HIGHER EDUCATION FAIRS IN ALL THREE REGIONS OF VIET NAM
March is always a busy time for Capstone Vietnam with our annual Spring 2018 StudyUSA Higher Education Fair series and other events. Representatives from 20 US colleges and universities, including community colleges and ESL programs, joined our fair series in four major cities, including Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Nha Trang, Danang, and Hanoi.
The events attracted hundreds of quality students and parents interested in study in the USA, who had the opportunity to speak with US higher education colleagues. Their could either speak directly, if their English proficiency was good enough, or with the assistance of a student interpreter.
The fair also provided students and parents with free advising services with our experienced team of educational advisers and Dr. Mark Ashwill, Capstone’s managing director. Our goal is always to find the best fit between a student’s qualifications, interests, ability to pay, goals and a short list of suitable schools.
In addition to the main event, i.e., the fair, there were other nearby events such as a student visa presentation by a US consular officer (in HCMC and Hanoi), a presentation by a Vietnamese alum of US higher education.. Finally, there was a presentation by an American Airlines colleague about how to pack and ensure a safe and enjoyable international flight.
In addition, Capstone was pleased to introduce the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program to potential investors with the goal of helping Vietnamese investors obtain permanent resident status (Green Card) for themselves, their spouses, and their unmarried children under the age of 21.
Capstone Vietnam looks forward to continuing to offer opportunities for prospective students to connect with US school representatives. We hope to see you at our fall 2018 StudyUSA Higher Education Fairs.
